Hi can you explain how you blocked IP's and exactly which IP's you blocked? I'd like to try to use this again but want to make sure I block everything properly before I try it.

 

does anyone know how to install icon files in the cloud cache images folder? i tried and it still shows up as blank in nexus

holy shit calm down, i'm not a big fan of nexus but the i care more about the music than if the producer used falcon, omni or a rompler with sounds from 2005. there are probably many who use nexus who make better music than you and I combined, so i'd rather focus on the soul of the music than being this butthurt over a synth.

 

accurate hahahahahhaha but it performs really well actually, regardless being 64 bits. and some sounds (from nexus 3 expansions) are really good

Anyone who can explain step by step how to install nexus 3 and make it work on mac?

 

on sister site there is the easy installer by MORiA and there are all step in the release

 

I have the Nexus installed works but keeps on messaging " The library for nexus isn't installed. Please use the refx cloud app to install it.
I have no clue how to get this reFX cloud app. Anyone suggestions?

 

i don't know if it's the same situation, but i had the same problem and it was caused by a duplicated settings file.... i was modifying the wrong one

Howdy folks, so I am wondering just exactly how many & which I.P's need to be blocked on hosts file.

In some parts of this thread I see people saying;
3 I.P's
4 I.P's
or even 6 I.P's need to be blocked on host file.

I got it working on an old machine that is offline but haven't tried it on my current machine (not an option to run current machine offline).

Also I saw that some say to unblock the web.refx IP but I'm curious does this mean that ReFx can track you? I have Nexus 2 but don't want to compromise my account on there ofr obvious reasons.

I guess basically I am just asking for a definitive "WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO ENSURE THE INSTALL WORKS & YOU CAN'T BE TRACKED BY THE DEV?"

Also is it possible to run this release next to the legit N2? I'm guessing that I'd best be uninstalling the cloud app if I were to do this so as to not have any conflicts in the licensing/log of the cloud app?

Perhaps I am a little paranoid on this but the whole concept of blocking I.P.s either by host file of Firewall is an entirely new thing for me so pardon my n00bism's here.

You can't block IPs using a host file, that's notbhow host files work. You map names to IPs in a host file, you block IPs using a firewall.

Trying to block IPs using hosts has zero effect, you are just as vulnerable as before.

Edit: there are some examples here of a good hosts file, start with that. I think there is even a thread here on good hosts files.

For blocking IPs, that is usually specific to each firewall.
