Sometimes people who make YouTube videos link the project files (if you are very lucky), or you can find them on music forum websites, but I think it's best to do some study first so you know how all the tools work.

 

How to mix in real world

 

I only ever saw it a few times, like you say it's quite rare because you would need to own the same plugins. Most tutorials are teaching you how to use the actual tools, and just looking at the settings doesn't teach you much as every project is different. You need to know why you are making each mix decision, and how it affects the other tracks.

Anyway, buy a SSL console and mixing is easy

Pop, rock, orchestral, EDM mostly. I mainly use S1 and Reaper.
