Well the Zoomers are the first generation who grow up with fast internet everywhere, or smartphones and apps, and the most websides alredy existed before they were even born, or many developers make new websites especially for zoomers, like tiktok. I don't know if the young people who make money with dumb shit on tiktok should be called retarded, because.... they make money, a lot of money. But I think, it isn't good for the minds of young people to be on the internet as soon as they can use a smartphone. I think it isn't healthy for 12 year olds if they must post tiktok shit or instagram stories to be cool or popular among classmates ect...

Divisions (age, sex, skin color, religion...) will disappear soon anyway.

Radical changes are not always sustainable. Radical changes are not used or even forgotten if they do not match the inherent needs and desires of human beings.

Many civilizations have emerged throughout history, but have either deteriorated or been replaced by other civilizations. Even in some cases they have moved backwards.

The future of human civilization is not simply predictable and cannot be easily managed or directed towards certain directions.

 

You speak of this generation as if they have a "hive mind"... that there are no exceptions to this group. That they all think with the one same brain. Do you see that of the millions of individuals of whom you speak, some are excelling in many fields of endeavour? Do you also see racial and culturally diverse groups in the same way? Because essentially that is how you are describing young people.

 

You want to hear another analysis? New generation is like popular music. Doesn't need any analysis.

 

I know many people in their 20's studying at the Conservatorium of Music. They love Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart and despise modern music. These are friends of my son in law who is a classically trained pianist. There are hundreds of thousands of young people in rural areas who only listen to country music. You make up a definition that excludes those who don't support your theory.

 

Complex phenomena require analysis. I don't see any complexity in the new generation.

The new generation is a simple generation with simple needs and thoughts. Trying to get to know this generation is futile because there is nothing to know.
