Preview of Plugin Alliance's new AMEK TMT bx_console to be released in May!

 

Looking nice. Lots of Eye-Candy.
But in the upper left, and the lower left as well, the filters.
Do they all have a range from 20 to 2k ?
Isn't that a bit strange?
(I have to admit, i've never seen the console)

 

I notice the screws are much better quality compared to the bx SSL consoles.

 

The screenshot is an early "GUI demo", not the actual plugin.
So it's possible those controls aren't labelled in their finished state.

The EQ frequency knobs are all the same too in that mockup.

Yep. The trick is to really make your tracks sound expensive, you need *all* of them on every channel. For that true FocuSslApiMekEve console sound... plus, you know, add some tubes. Always with the tubes. (Extra bonus points if you can also whack in a transformer too. It becomes much better with magic transformers....)

This pro audio lark is too easy...

 

Thriller was mixed with stock ableton eq, so anything is possible.

Ill just run my shit through my old Soundcraft, my 24 channel inline console cost less than any of their channel strips. Theres a guy here thats been trying to get rid of a 40 channel AMEK on Craigslist for years hah. He finally just gave in and started parting it out last month, now it's a 35 channel model.
