I recently installed MORiA's version of UJAM Kandy a while back. It showed up as a demo so (like an idiot) I clicked on "start my trial". Now no matter what I do, delete, reinstall, etc., I cannot get rid of the damn "trial" screen. There must be some hidden file created somewhere when you start the trial? I've deleted everything I could find, even in hidden folders under my username. All these plugs installed perfectly on a machine where I didn't start the trial period. Anyone know where the hidden file could be residing???

 

remove all traces and start over carefully.

 

Delete Moira's version, and get the purry KiTTY's one instead, perhaps?

 

I removed every trace I could find. Even went thru the hidden library folder under my username. Deleted every spec I could find. Reinstalled the new version from KiTTY (which has worked great on the other plugs and installed perfect on another machine where I did NOT click on the trial button), still all a no go. There must be a file hidden in a very unusual spot???

 

That's actually what I'm attempting to do.

 

This is macOS though.

@dpzouthouse I think is our .plist files. Not sure.

 

Omg! Yes; this used to be a thing! Where we had to also install the VST even if we don't use it, so that the standalone can work!
Also would explain the faults I've had with KiTTY's releases so far!
From me at least, I predict that a "well done!" is in order!
And I reckon KiTTY might need to state this in the releases now...
