But fun aside: It shows that our brain sometimes is hiding built in abilities from us.
It isn't that we only use a little part and we just need to push a door open to use it all, it has been proven that this is not true.
But as said in the video our brain has filters to let us be focused on nutrition and survival and some other basic abilities more. These filters are a natural protective function so that we don't go crazy all the time due to information overload.
When these filters are destroyed, we can develop insular talents that are truly amazing. Often they are in the mathematical-musical area.
