Well, I already have it. I find it incredible that a plugin that costs 200 bucks has clicks, does strange things and that the entire channel is unusable in a last generation cpu. It is of little use to have good algorithms if the user experience is frustrating.
especially existing companies like for istance plugin alliance. My 2 cents!

Does anyone know if there's an offline installation option for this? The order page has a link to one, but when I download it, it's just the Cream manual-- no installer or .dll or anything.

The (Windows) machine I want to install this on is strictly offline, so I don't think Aquarius is an option. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

You are not doing something right.
My reply to your message was deleted since it was posted in the wrong thread, but i can assure you it runs smooth and is one of the lighter AA plugins ( 28 channel strips, with everything on, preamp, eqs, compressor). No clicks or artifacts.
It is an awesome sounding mojo plugin if you know what you are doing.

:bleh:blah nonsense, only the preamp stage gives some texture and character (the tube options especially), the other modules nothing impressive that other plugins don't do out there (kush, fuse, Mcdsp, Massey, Crane Song, Korneff Audio, Stilwell Audio, Slate I think haha,) Pd: Analogo obsession I would not advise them but there are a couple of pieces that deserve the pea to take a look-Kolin Limiter, Buster:winker:

I have the plugins you mentioned and the Cream EQ/comp is very unique sounding, it reacts and sounds different, very nice.

not even a chance, while 10 bucks is practically nothing, where i'm from i can't pay through the internet, nor i can send money out, that privilege is reserved to a small portion of our population, like businessmen or parents with children abroad...

You need to check Focusrite's User Area and find promocode, after that at AA's website add Cream2 to shopping cart and enter promocode in Coupon Code field

I don't see a expiration Date on the Coupon Code stored in my Focusrite Account. But since I've registered mine prior to March 27th, I can't tell. But what usually happens is that codes disappear from the Focusrite account if you missed a deal/offer/freebie.

Bwah.. Tried Cream 2 on my current projects but could not find anything great about Cream 2... Other tools are better, even freeware ones. Maybe the hardware of Cream is just as "meh" as well.
Acoustica Audio should have offered better hardware samples if they wanted new users to see how great they are (seems to me they aren't great at all).

Waste of CPU cycles imho.. Everything I've tried from Acustica Audio is 'meh'. I rather use the Softube Consoles for character and saturation. AirWindows "emulations" of SSL etc are great, and donation/freeware. And low CPU usage.
