NEXUS 3 skins (SOLVED)

    Hello, I recently installed Nexus 3, everything works very well ... but I have a problem when I change the skin and close the nexus, it sets the standard skin every time.
    Is there any way for him to remember which one I set?

    It's probably due to a specified default skin set in preferences.json. Have you modified this?
    That's the entry:
    "ui": {
    "default-skin": "---"
    }
    If set to "---", it will load the standard one on startup. Hav a try and modify this to your favorite one.

    Btw: I don't have this issue. Having set it to any skin, it will remember this after restart. I'm using v3.4.4 and Windows.
    Maybe it's for a different reason, but try to change it first.

    Same here - It remembers last skin used. Same version and OS

    Thank you that solved the problem.
    The problem occurs when the preferences.json file. it is marked read-only.
    Deselecting this option resolved the problem.

    I can't change skins at all, I downloaded a set of skins for Nexus 3 OS X here https://github.com/reFX/Nexus3-Skins but I haven idea where these files go or paste info about them etc, any advise would be cool!

    thanks for the reply,
    -Nexus did not create any application support folder in the main Mac library, so I created one and dragged the skins folder from the 175GB portion but it still does not work.
    I get those dots mentioned here in the "skin" pop up menu...I restarted logic and all (maybe I should restart the computer? what you think?)

    No need to reboot... as soon as you add a skin, Nexus sees it immediately.

    Those dots just mean that there are no new Skins in the folder (or that Nexus doesn't see them for some reason).
