I still have 6db of headroom left after only compressing 1x on my master fader channel... But, did I compress it too much or too little?
It's also a techno tune for anyone in question of what type/style of music it is.

it's ok, just bring it up a little until you only have -3dbfs headroom left. If you want you can even go till you have around -1db headroom and then just place a limiter on it so it doesn't peak in the red.

If the track is distorting when you leave -3dbfs or -1dbfs headroom, you're prolly doing something wrong, otherwise you should be fine

I think I can fix the bass problem. I am pretty sure, I just removed too much of the "feeling part" of my low end stuff. And as for my tune's peak level increasing my volume another 2-4 db should be no problem either.
No, I didn't use any Limiters on it. *no*

 

It doesn't sound overcompressed to me, but it lacks bass indeed.
