    As I said, too many very old plugins still circling with subpar emulation quality compared to modern ones. AFAIK Cubase and Live do not support 32bit anymore. So, for many people is gonna be waste of time checking not worthy 32bit plugins. Emphasizing 32bit at least gives an option.

    Good things about VST emulations of hardware - Moving parts do not wear (There aren't any other than your Computer) and solder never suffers from dry joints with age (because there isn't any). Sometimes the developer gets it right. Good things about hardware - it's not an emulation.

    Digital hardware has DAC, the same problem with your vst and your PC sound card and on the other hand analog hardware is not prone to bass and high volume electronic kicks, because it does not have the internal digital problems of a DAC .

    So if your digital synthesizer suffers in its internal amplifier and your computer's sound card is not as capable, your synthesizer will not have the same punch in the final sound as an analog original or clone.

    K Brown Synth Plugins - Free - 32 Bit & 64 bit

    https://kbrownsynthplugins.weebly.com

    The plugs are 32-bit, Windows-only; they cannot be made Mac-compatible because they were made with Synthmaker, which doesn't support it. To use these on a 64-bit system, there's jBridge : jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/

    It's just an announcement as far as I can tell. He's going to but hasn't yet. But I will link it when it does because this is great news. I've always loved those plugs.

    This is a link to his home page but oddly his downloads are offline.
    https://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/downloads/

    But I found them here, on 32 bit for now.

    Dunno if it's been mentioned but:

    Sonic Charge's Cyclone (Yamaha TX16W running Typhoon 2000 - a complete 1:1 recreation with no compromises. Aside from the fact that it *works* like a TX16W..)

    Link contains a forum post that will redirect you to the downloads page and a page where you can download most of the original TX16W disks.

    Cherry Audio DCO-106, best Roland Juno-106 emulation to me... with additionnal features which makes it incredible for those who like this synth

    They also make other top quality emulations:
    Moog Memorymoog => Memorymode
    Moog Polymoog => Polymode
    Korg MS-20 => PS-20
    Oberheim EightVoice => EightVoice
    Realistic MG-1 => MG-1 Plus
    ARP 2600 => CA2600

    You should check them out because these synths really stand out and their prices are very low

    Native Instruments Vintage Organs has Hammond B3 and C3 amongst others

    Tronsonic Organatron has very good Hammond m100 (Whiter Shade of Pale, early Pink Floyd)

    Cherry Audio is great, don't forget their Quadra emulation. Hats down for sound quality which is tweakable to accommodate even the slowest machines out there :wink: Amazing sound and fairly priced emulators

    Yes, I've just gotten into Cherry Audio this week.. Bought polymode, Memorymode and Eight Voice. All are really good. I'm considering Quadra and CA2600 next.

    Edit: well damn.. I wasn't sure it would be for me, based on the sample video/songs on the CA site, but I grabbed the demo of DCO-106 and I love this thing. I think I'm probably going to buy that one tonight. I'm also just trying the Quadra now and I'm completely torn. Love 'em both. I think the Quadra has more weird sounds in it that I'd really like. I can only grab one right now, but I'll for sure grab the other down the road. I think I'm grabbing Quadra now.

    Edit2: Couldn't decide.. bought both Quadra and DCO-106. lol

    instead of a poll that says yes or no, i suggest to put all the synths in this thread there and people can vote on those. because i came here just to get ideas.
