well, im a bit like in your situation before, doubting if you wernt imagination shit. but im almost sure there is another instrumental track from that period (75/81).
i think there were several "piano-only" or orchestral songs that went pop/radio charts in those days. stuff like the fifth disco track you know:

but the one im looking for is supposedly piano, or orchestral pop. similar to Music Box Dancer, just not the same..
