    It's not about that. It goes online to convert presets too.
    But wait, you already said you don't want to use it if it needs to go online.
    So it's irrelevant to you if they block it or not.

    What it is, is that there was a thread created especially so that you could read all the answers to your questions from people's experiences so far.
    And you are in that thread.
    And as the person said who answered to your last comment, if all this online stuff is a problem to you it's best not to download it.

    He just copied the text from bobdule on the sister site incl. his comment... while bobdule's script doesn't make sense
    because of the added IP's. Explained it and added some working scripts that add the ip's as firewall block rules and
    the urls as hosts rules.

    Here are the scripts if needed: Nexus3_hosts_firewall.zip
    Also added an UAC admin check so you just have to run them normally and a script that deletes the
    firewall rules if needed for some reason.

    It goes online to convert MCFACT presets for Nexus 2.0-2.21, i tried with older Factory presets from the AiR release, for all the new converted presets - its wants to go online - but it does need to go, it fully works and loads presets.

    there is a log window, which shows you what the plugin is upto.

    So you are perfectly fine to stay fully offline and 'everything' works.

    yes, so far was tested, the dll is the same packed, even the same nag, when you removed the regkey, with the same text and thats it registered to the same creator.

    I mean win7 is quite outdated, no updates and stuff and lots of development tools, do not work anymore and software could stop any minute to work. (win8 has still support till 2023, but yet ableton has ended support for it)

    So far i can read, Schleis isnt directly part of reFX? Or im wrong?
