"Game changing" spatial audio format by Immersion Networks

    Saw this article on a new spatial audio format by a company called Immersion Networks and it gave me a good laugh when I read that producer Sebastian Krys claimed it to be “the greatest development in audio since the dawn of stereo”. I must say that it's nice that they have released a actual track to demo the technology rather than the random sound FX and other irrelevant stuff they usually use for the demos!

    To my ears, the 3D version of the song sounded worse than the reference in all of my headphones. It did sound a bit better in the open backs than in in-ear monitors, but still worse than the reference. What do you guys think?
