Try to split the download in half just go whit Nexus.iso first and then split the banks in 2 downloads to get a bit faster download time!

 

another thing to consider: if you would want implement ransomware or bitcoin miner or whatever you have to think about this. this whole nexus thing only comes as a plugin no standalone and no exe. so this could only pop up inside your daw. and if you have blocked that any attempt of whatever has nowhere to go. so IF somebody want to implement anything malware why not just write a simple installer where you could impletent anything you want? way more effective..

about the amazon server... well, theres manny servers he could chose from, but the server is from amazon, and theres a amazon server that also does belong to refx.
It may be that the older version of nexus had to contact this other Amazon server by some reason

A DLL can contain anything. From malware to whatever and there are many ways to manipulate a DLL file. It can still do damage by loading it into a daw as it gets executed and can simply write to your drive. The DLL doesn't have to connect to the internet, what is inside can connect. We simply do not know what is inside.

I'm suprised it's even allowed on the sister site, as there's no way to know if the source can be trusted or by checking what's inside the file.

Why can a chinese person crack nexus3, while the big boys like R2R can't, or maybe they have but they won't release. I dunno about the inside stuff of the scene.

All presets working here on Mac, i didn’t block any ip adres, after 2 days still no problem.
Only the new presets don’t work. Edm 6 etc, because it requires a new version.
