After extensively testing this release I have to say: WOW, what a lot of garbage.
I guess I'm glad that I never even thought about buying this but come on man, this kinda reminds me of my SF2 days.

Reeks of plastic and the common synthies and vsts (Omnisphere, Arturia Analog Lab and so on) do a way better job.
If you produce anything else than static, simple electronic music you can skip this Rompler all together.

also had it try to reach pusher.com. on the LS network monitor it tries maybe 3-5 times in the first minute of opening an instance of N3

Yeah, pusher url is within legit Nexus DLL file strings.
I wouldn't worry about that.

 

why dont you just make ableton be entirely unable to connect to the internet? thats what I've done with fl studio

 

I lke to be online because I use loopcloud a lot... and splice... and also apps who want internet to run like reason rack...

 

Because doing it on a per dev/plugin basis means that other plugins can still be able to download stuff or whatever.
But of course you do what you said and just unblock it for updates.
