I have placed .componant / .vst / .vst3
I have placed the ReFx folder in my shared

Should the Preset folder be placed in the same folder as the 170gb file?
Should the folder be called Nexus Library or Nexus Content
I will then change .json file to point o the nexus Library?

can anyone help please?

ive downloaded both files the 800mb and 170bg files but I don’t see the folder structure your showing.

but I’m still extracting the 170gb file, does it come from that?

 

definitely agree with that last line, but the audioz poll shows that most producers that crack stuff are electronic and hip hop producers. that's why i was generalizing. totally fine if u don't agree with me but that's just how i see it. even more with how many hip hop producers use the same in memorium or whatever preset. hip hop producers see their favourite youtube channel or producer using omnisphere and think "i need this plugin" without exploring their stock plugins which are already pretty good

If omnisphere had organizated presets and samples as nexus 3 does, it would be surely the most used synth ever, the sounds from the samples are pretty realistic and have nice built-in effects
I only chose to use nexus 3 in place of it because with my workflow it stacks way better


Omnisphere be like:

Me: I need a lead

Me: opens omnisphere

Me: selects "lead" section

Lead section: you mean cat_with_gonorrhea sound fx?

SO TO SUMMARIZE , Is this Nexus 3 Version working with all the library sounds on PC, windows 10(ableton live )

 

don't change the name of any folder except the root of the content you downloaded to Nexus Library and then place it in your Applications folder, or if on remote drive, use Symbolic Link to do the same unless you want to fool with renaming the jspon file,

 

leave the content files you downloaded in tact. Just rename it (the main folder holding all the folders) to Nexus Library. of course I'm not looking at what you downloaded and how it was organized.I used the original share of it.

Nope.

Omnisphere has a great sample explorer. It's just that its preset explorer is not that nice.

 

For me the preset explorer is pretty bad (remembers me nexus 2, even more with the "update" that some categories are no more categories).
About the sample explorer: I think it has so many categories and subcategories that they end up polluting the organization of sections
the way the plugin resizes and the over-sized categories space don't help too haha

 

I stayed away from it for sooooo long as it’s not my genre usually, but as you say, the rare stuff, it is so much fun to experiment with

 

isnt it weird that refx didnt file a dmca take down yet
