Not yet answered. We should wait 1000 years, along with effort, so maybe can be answered. If this thread is closed, the probability of reaching the answer would be zero because no one would make any effort.

At least my crazy is entertaining and not for the express purposes of being a pain. I challenge someone to live my life and remain sane. The fact that I'm only this level of crazy is really a miracle in and of itself. Plus, when I look around and read the news, sometimes I wonder if it's really me that's insane.

Yes and we are the "wire", the receiver and transmitter, but not "just about energy reception" but energy manipulation too.
We're probably picking up the music of the spheres or something!
All in accordance with how affective our own filtered or unfiltered receiver is, and then it may be important to be a good transmitter to get the music outwards of you.

No, I won't be tricked into agreeing to reincarnate again at that time just for you to ask these questions again.
I mean, I know you'll still be here though.

The thing is if I can say it, it probably is not the answer! And definitely not the whole truth.
But yeah, the idea has always resonated with me and it seems to resonate with others too.
Of course, we can create with just being influenced by others musically, but I know you weren't talking about that...

How and why? A real kind of how and why. A kind that no one would be able to stand against it, even a bit.

I get it that you're probably trolling / semi-trolling. But to anyone really interested, check out:

"Music and Probability" by David Temperley

"Sweet Anticipation" by David Huron (personally I don't like this book but it's a good starter)

Check the works of academics such as Narmour, Lerdahl, Meyer and the whole music cognition field... The solutions for your answers are out there. How music works is complicated. You wouldn't ask how relativity theory works and expect a one line answer right? This doesn't mean it's not figured out.

turn it into numbers and perhaps you'll be able to see how it works..

p/s: and maybe more fun to learn than music theory books.. the subject is musical set theory.. :shalom:#havefun

    example..

    Code:
    pseudocode..

    note set
    (C = 0), (C# = 1), (D = 2) .. (B = 11)

    chord set
    if Cmaj is (C = 0), (E = 4), (G = 7),
    then to get Dmaj,
with ref from note set (D = 2),
    Dmaj will be (C = 0) + (D = 2), (E = 4) (D = 2), (G = 7) + (D = 2)
    :shalom:

Most theoretical books describe how great composers used musical elements. The author of each of those books tries to provide his own understanding of the work of composers. If you put a piece of a composer in front of the authors of those books, each will analyze it with their own knowledge, and there is always the possibility that the analyses would be different.
This theory has been made to explain the combination of notes. Unable to describe how music works.

We can do something else. Remove the phrase "music theory" from all the books of music theory because when someone reads a few "music theory" books, he/she thinks that all the music-related materials and issues have been homogeneously explained in them.

We can put this name on the books:
My opinion on the works of composer X

This is not true. Again, using a presentation to pass a false affirmation ...
For many people, specially the ones that have read more than one book, every book about music theory is specific.
That's why those who deeply study it read more than one book.

Instead of saying "everyone" you should say "I" or "some people I know"

And BTW, if you new about music theory, you would know that more than one book is titled exactly this way "this guy's vision /analysis of this composer / that period" etc ...
I'm obviously speaking about serious books, not the "learn chords and become a composer mun 7 days" ones.

You want to justify your willing not to study music theory by demonstrating to the world that it's a scam, but hey man, you don't need so.
Just don't study it, and do your music.
