Mac is floating around? Really? Seriously? I own legit, so I’m not risking losing my license until I see proof. Not saying it isn’t out there. Just don’t want to get screwed. I have v3 libraries at the ready to share if I see proof... Apes unite

What concerns me most is that it’s veeeeerrrry close to April fools... What if its really just V2 in sheep’s clothing? What if there’s an embedded time bomb? I know I sound like I’m pooping on the idea. I really hope it’s legit tho. Just staying cautious. Hopefully we see some solid proof soon... I see libraries now available on Rutracker btw

Spoke too soon about libraries on Rutracker... Seems there's another software thing called Nexus. But mains is on there.... Still waiting tho.

ok i got it to work, but cant get the presets to show, do the factory presets work?
i know how to edit the settings file but what do i change it to if say the presets are in downloads folder?

1. copied (Nexus3.39.dll and regkey.dat) to the VST plugin directory.

2. copied the reFX folder
C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents \ reFX \ nexus

can someone help please , I did all the steps and added hollywood.nxp to the preset folder I added to the settings.json I made sure I did the double slash but nothing appeared yet in the plugin I dont know what I am doing wrong

 

Not even the legit version can import bank files directly.
You need Nexus 2 to unpack them, or get someone to unpack them for you and download it.

But I'm wondering... where does this come from? What is the plugin doing behind the scenes? Hmmm... I wouldn't be sure.

Followed everything, and just want to make sure where everyone is at. So it can be opened, all the presets showed up, but only a little (even from the Factory Presets) can be played for now ? or all the preset should already work ?

In the pic, AR After Midnight 1 A will produce sound and can be played, edit etc, but AR After Midnight 1, 1 B, 2 no sound, can't be played ?



EDIT: So do I have to download all this before everything can be played ? Can anyone confirm this ?

Since I never used reFX Nexus, Could I use reFX Nexus 3 only with the hollywood library available? What is the minimum sound package from reFX Nexus 2 that needs to be available for hollywood library to work on the "new" reFX Nexus 3 (approximately how many GB would be needed?)?

I ask 'cos I amn't interested in downloading/purchasing 170 GB Content!
