The (unofficial) Remix Da OLD Live Demos Challenge

    The (unofficial) Remix Da OLD Live Demos Challenge​

    As part of celebration, that Ableton _Live_ turns 20 years this October, i thought we could remix the old Demo Songs. I collected all songs from L01-L11 and will provide them later as download.
    Then we can remix one of them or mashup? It is up to you to get creative.
    We wont have any prices, nor any places will be announced, the idea is, just to get busy and creative with the stems.

    Se RULES:

    1. Grab one or two Demo Songs and remix, mash it, add your own touch.
    2. present it here in this topic, when you have it finished, everybody can give feedback.
    3. There is no deadline, you time as long as you want or need.
    4. Any discussion please in this topic here.
    5. Most of all have phun and maybe you can learn new things about Live or your DAW.
    (6. It is not required for you to work in Ableton Live, but it is easier to open the old projects in Live, to check out how they fit together, but the stems are provided as aiff, wav)
    7. And finally render and upload the file and post here for us to listen to.

    ^ when will the project files/stems provided to us ? can't we get at least one for now so we can get working soon ?
    I'll try to do as many projects/remixes as i can in different styles/gernes & share them here :bow:

    Great to read^^

    Im just at the moment collecting them from all the live version, so far Live 6 doesnt seem to have a Demo, im stuck at v8, because i cant find a working version, where i can save the project file with all samples and stuff.
    so L9 and L10 to go. Hope im done by tmro and then uploading.

    And the Demo songs are added: L01-L11 (L06 had no demo song!)

    This is the first project i've done for this thread,it is my take on the Live 10 suite Demo Song :
    On the included zip/folder you will find first,the wav file,the original demo is between 0-1.55,my work starts on 1:55 to 4:41 :bow:
    I also included the Ableton file project for all our Ableton users, my work starts at bar 49 :wink:

    Can you render it and put the file up? its easier to listen to it and we can use third party plugins too.

    What do you want me to render ? just my work & share it on Mega ? the wav file, as is on soundcloud ?
    I'm a bit confused,can you expand on your thoughts & tell me what exactly you want me to render ?
