Stuck on this and not getting anywhere.

I am trying to find the Crash Cymbal used in the audio example below from a hip hop track.

It has a good amount of sustain, lasting at least 2 beats and to my ears it sounds like natural sustain not one produced by reverb or something.

So far I have tried every Crash in Rolands V TR-808 & 909, all of Arturia Sparks Vintage drum machines incl DNX (DMX), CL-78, DR-606, 626, 707, 808, 909, DRM-55, DRumulater, Lynn Dream, YRX-5.

I've even looked at Addictive Drums & EZ Drummer (just in case) but they do not even come close.

I know that after careful production sounds can be altered but I have found nothing that comes even close.

    Any ideas gang?

It seems close to a 707 sample. Have you tried playing with pitch shifting and a little hi-passing? Year of the track?

    Hi Blu

Its a 1989 track, Funky Cold Media - Instrumental

Yeah I went through the 707 (Arturia sparks version) and the crash cym in that sounds bad when pitched and does not have the same "natural" sounding sustain.
