The thing to watch for is RT CPU (real-time CPU usage).
Just in case you are not aware, if you right the the Reaper Performance Meter, you will see more options to check or uncheck.

RT CPU will be higher than individual combined CPU use. It is the total load of Reaper for all measurable usage.

My system runs at what is now normal for project settings for mixing. 48kHz, 24 bit, 128 samples.
For some lower track count sessions, I will drop down to 64 samples while mixing.

In my experience with Windows software. If a particular DAW or plugin is having performance issues, the problem is in the coding of the software. You can usually, not always, run the same software on a Mac Book Air & get better results. Optimized coding plain & simple.

Some software just requires more CPU & memory no matter what platform or system is used. Acustica???

    that is correct. But ...
    10 x MD4HD RT CPU ~6.1 %
    10 x Fabfilter Pro MB (4Bands) RT CPU ~11.8%
    10 x blue cat MB5 (4Bands) RT CPU ~4.5%

There is not much difference between total use and real time use. In total CPU use an instance of Fabfitler MB 4 bands uses on my system 0.58% and an bluceat Mb-5 4 bands takes around 0,2% an instance. And do not forget MB4HD Is a 6 Band EQ and a 5 Band Compressor not only a compressor;).
so the CPU usage is pretty good I would say,

As stated. RT CPU usage is usually higher because of overall system usage by DAW. This is especially true with software that is not well optimized like the T.C. Electronic System 6000 to stay on topic.

One useful question: have you got OpenGL enabled or disabled for Fabfilter plugins? With my Intel HD630, Fabfilter plugins give much lower RT CPU utilisation than with the OpenGL enabled. I am using a bit older version [early 2020], Reaper 5.99, Win 7.

    Did I misread your post?
In short, 1 FF MB 4 band = 0,58%. This should result in 10x FF MB 4 band = 5,8%, right?
    But you wrote
This is twice as much and I'd call this a significant difference.
