I have a good tutorial to make it work every time without crashing. I wanted to make sure I never went through this hell again.

Make sure you delete everything related to omnisphere to guarantee a smooth install before doing this

Step 1) Run Step 1 installer (Installing the DVD 1-8)
Step 2) Copy 64 bit patch and paste in ProgramFiles steinberg
Step 3) Keygen (Patch ProgramData/Spectrosonic/64 bit)
Step 4) In FL Studio - Manage plugins and add folder of step 3
Step 5) Checkmark 64 bit omnisphere to import into your list of plugins
Step 6) Authorize omnisphere (It will fail (might not if lucky))
Step 7) Refresh plugins fast scan
Step 8) Drag Omnisphere 64 in from sample library on left side of fl studio and Authorize. (It should work)
Step 9) Delete and reopen Omnisphere

If you have an update installer
Step 10) Run updater
Step 11) Patch ProgramFiles steinberg
Step 12) Copy that and paste into VST folder
Step 13) Refresh plugins fast scan
Step 14) Drag Omnisphere in and Authroize
Step 15) Delete and reopen Omnisphere like it tells you to do once activated

Its worked for me without failing at step 7 once. But if not continue to the end.

If you cant follow this tutorial I can make a simple video that makes sense unlike the other 1 or 2 already out there

 

I had your problem i fixed it by deleting a file in omnisphere directory i'm under windows but i think you'll find it

go to C:\programdata\spectrasonics\

you'll find a file named AUDIO16.DAT just delete it and open the vst in FL it should be good if it doesn't just repeat it will work at some point

 

Try patching the .dll file in the program files folder then afterwards copy and paste it in the vst folder of fl studio. scan for plugins and it should work
