RX is great if you spend time on field recordings and need a good application for editing i post. Ozone is great too in some extent when editing your music. And that´s pretty much all imho.

Subscription?.... what a joke!! If I want a plugin badly, I buy it when it´s on sale because I want to own (OWN) the plugin for good.
Imagine all devs started the subscription model = you´d be bound to them forever with a monthly expense.... what a nightmare

That's the whole plan in general of these New World Order psychopaths... They don't want you to actually own anything. What's more is that they want to own YOU!

"Want to" ? They already do.
In the UK we have "Informant" on the registration form that is your birth certificate.
Your parent is the Informant and signs you over to the crown and state.
If you want to be a 'Freeman', you have to write to the Queen and say you will no longer be a 'subject'.
Then you will not pay taxes, but have to fend for yourself regards healthcare.
'Stock' markets and 'bonds' are all intertwined with this. (The words of slavery.)
Our individual worth is what is actually played with on the stock market.

    That's the plan.

Also there's "planned obsolescence" which in some way like "subscription to physical things" if you can look at it this way. "We are sorry, looks like our latest update crippled your device that you bought last year, you definitely need to buy a new one!"

Also there is 'built-in obsolescence'. Sony and Philips both had at least 3 tiers of pricing for their non-audiophile home hi-fi units in the 90s, and the best would last over 10 years but not beyond 15, with constant use.
The cheapest all-in-one 'midi' hi-fi units were fitted with parts that would go within just 5 years.
Equally, I know that Philips had a 5 year future plan, a 10 year plan, and a 15 year plan.
And had the products and tech all lined up on paper at least, and all planned ahead.
I got told about a new digital audio format around 4 years before it arrived.
Unfortunately, when it arrived it was only MiniDisc! Bleurgh!

It's also great for removing a lot of room noise/reverb on recordings where the instruments or speaker (voice-over) have some surrounding room ambience that interferes with the clarity, or a reverb is processed in a performance file you were sent that does not sit correctly with other instrumentation or backgrounds. It's fiddly sometimes but it's certainly made well. It seems a lot of people do not want the subscription model except iZotope, for sure.

    Their stuff IS overhyped!

The only reason people talk about Izotope to begin with is their damn Ozone that they marketed as mastering solution for people who don't know how to master. And sadly, if you don't know how to master (a process that is far less complicated than it is made out to be), it will show regardless of whenever you use Ozone or not.

You could get a few free plugins and get better results than you ever would with Ozone (use stuff from TDR, for instance). But no, instead use Ozone and get terrible results because their marketing team instilled the idea that it works even if you don't know how to make it work.

Ozone has two things that are pretty much unmatched: the Harmonic Exciter, and the Loudness Maximizer.

One might think after so many years someone would have improved over that,
    but alas they haven't.

And it doesn't matter if it's free or paid, I've tried all the possible alternatives,
no one offers a viable alternative of better quality or features..

The only thing that gets close in terms of Maximizer is Newfangled Elevate,
Great plug, well featured and comparable in quality/results..

The only problem is CPU usage is over the roof.
Ozone is not shy on that area, but this newfangled stuff just eats CPU for breakfast.

A few of their products have some really good features but unfortunately, not enough to warrant a dual subscription. Even Slate Digital who has a similar setup, has a 'pay one subscription and get access to everything". Many people will find that better value, and naturally so.

You better hope not, or she wont be your girlfriend for too much longer.

I haven't heard or read anything that suggests that it will alter the actually quality of the sound, so it is still GIGO. Though if you aren't sure about things auto-master and auto-eq-my-stuff will work better supposedly,

in ozone the AI assistant doesn't do much...just gives you a base with eq, and limiter at best its saving you like 15 minutes. Not to say it won't become amazing in the future.

Honestly though I don't like subscription models, except for kilohearts because with them you rent to own which isn't that bad.
