HELP! Everytime I install a new software this message pops up.

    Ok, for those who can't see his image, it's this type of error

    Solutions could be:
    - run the software as admin
    - install or repair the latest version of .NET Framework
    - update DirectX
    - reinstall all Microsoft Visual C++ runtime packages (in case they are corrupt) as already mentioned by @Haliax
    - a broken xinput1_3.dll can cause this error too.

    I've had this problem before, tried all the above and everything else I could find on the net, nothing seemed to work. In the end I just reinstalled Windows.
