You probably mean "the big tit poppin' out from the pool" from the 80s, because Sabrina was as much a singer as i am a space pilot.
Actually now that i think about it, i'm more of a space pilot than Sabrina was ever as a singer. Hmmm...
Oh and same goes for Samantha Fox, although she -sort of- had a much longer career than Sabrina. A bit more clever i guess...
I 'd rather we wouldn't refer to the trashiest shit of the 80s as great songs because they 're not even remotely mediocre, let alone any good. They represent everything that was wrong about the music industry then. At best, these tracks can bring a smile to the face as they follow the "so bad that it's good" paradigm, but NEVER should they be consider any good, let alone great.
And please, never ever put real singers like Kim Wilde, or Whitney Houston (one of the greatest singers of all times), together in a post with those justifiably forgotten talentless hoes.
Do your homework, get your shit straight.
PS: And if i see another post of that "cheesiest, most kitsch pop ever feat. the worse haircuts+makeups of all times" a.k.a. Modern Talking, i will whoop your asses! All of you. You 've been warned.

These fucking Soviets/Russians know nothing about music, can't even dance or sing. Bunch of losers they all are.

I know some of you would want to kill me after this post but this is about 80's dance music, and these Latin gems songs were as big a hit as any we have posted.

@JMOUTTON That post with Jimmy Somerville is a new one for me. First time I hear it! He was the singer for Bronski Beat and the Communards. The song is a remake of Sylvester's disco classic which was a success as a result of Patrick Cowley's remix genius for which he never received any credit.

Jimmy had always strong roots in gay disco and hi nrg and during his solo career in the 90s and 2ks, has released some really nice songs. Almost 40 years later, he still is an amazing singer with his unique raunchy falsetto. For me, the highlight of his solo work was released about 6-7 years back, a late 70s-like retrospective disco album with all original compositions titled Homage, with full live band+strings+brass just like back in the day, which sadly never saw success although it was critically appraised. This album sounds decidedly retro albeit more punchy than the old days and it's my favorite Jimmy Sommerville record of all times, i have a sweet spot for some good disco hehehe.

@taskforce ,chill out dude ,ok some artists ranked vary from one to another
    based on country/popularity/music style
i can agree some artists had a single or album then pooof vanished and if i mentioned them here it will take a year to post all of them
i was just mentioning the 80s girls (whatever you say big breasted artists or big titty poppin in the pool )
thats how they appeared which generate popularity/Tshirts /merch/door sized wallpapers were selling like a hot cake ,baby
and i dont need to remind you they were performing on high level when YOU were in high school (or not born yet)
where everyone had long hair ,funky clothes in 80s and theres no shame (our dads had funky trousers and jackson hair in 70s
so 70s and 80s up to 90s had different way of living life ,man

    speaking of one hit wonders
here is desireless for you ..VOYAGE VOYAGE

unlike you trying to be funny insult 80s WAY of life ,that was all real way before mobiles
we had only sports/ movies to go at cinema /TV to watch at home /music on vinyl and tape cassetes to buy /and hunting chicks at arcade games center ,nothing else

,dont be too sensetive ,i dont need to rank them up for your taste,
if you think whitney housten/kim wilde/or cher do you belieeeeve) need own thread please go a head and open new thread

    besides
(me being a big fan of c.c.catch and sandra music )i do appreciate the music of other female artists from 80s
this is 80s thread where clothes and dont match and large hair style is well known to these artists

@hani king I think you took @taskforce's sarcasm the wrong way. You need to chillout, too. Go outside, find a tree and karate chop it, if there are no trees, use concrete columns. Report back the results. :hahaha: You posted "Voyage, voyage." The song has versions in several languages. There is one in particular, recorded in Spanish by Magneto, who was signed by Sony Discos (Mexico) that became a big hit. I recalled Sony (Miami) contacting us in late 1990, through Oscar Llord who knew us from TK Records, and requesting a dance mix which they planned to send to club DJs. We quoted the same fee we were getting paid for American market songs and Sony barked at the idea. We finally settled on a reduced fee but it led to a relationship with Sony that continues to exist to this day. Even though there are more than 20 versions of Magneto's "Vuela, vuela" that expensive dance remix never was published. :dunno: As a side note I want to add that, in '96 Oscar became the head of Sony Discos and latter was named President of Crossover for North America.

    Edit:
Hani I dedicate this song to you

    Grandmaster Flash (1981)
Full title is: “The adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the wheels of steel”. Even if it is a megamix, this record was treated as a single song in the clubs. Ingredients: 3 turntables and A LOT of talent.
A true masterpiece: with this performance (40 years ago), Grandmaster Flash wrote the rules of what will later be called "turntablism"

One thing I can tell you is that as good as him and Hercules were at scratching and cutting, they could not mix 2 records together as well.
