Over the past few weeks since the release of Essential Presets for Vital, I sat down and got to know every section of the synth in great detail. From community suggestions and sounds commonly found in mainstream EDM, I created these presets to boost your music workflow. And unlike the last pack, this one contains some wavetables (115 to be exact). I knew there was going to be limits with what I had to work with in the factory content wavetables, so I sat down and created a bunch of new ones. This preset pack is completely free, but I strongly encourage you to donate to the developer at his website (yes, that’s singular) or buy a paid version of the synth here.

This pack contains 101 Vital presets and 115 Vital wavetables.

Thought I'd share this here. With 1.0.6 you can now edit your skin. Hold alt and click the hamburger and it will have an option for a skin editor.

 

Just curious, I'm using the free version for now but although 'check for updates' is marked, I didn't get a message about updating from 105 to 106. Or will this only show up with paid versions?

 

No this is something according to Matt that is in the works. I'm a pro user and I don't get update notices either. I see them on the discord server.

Nice, now it's skinable. In the shop you can buy a skin pack for $5. Can't wait to make my own.

The skins are similar to a css style, which you can edit using any text editor.
Colors are basically HTML/Photoshop colors with an opacity information in front.

So if you want to add a green color, which is #29c823 in HTML, you add
ff29c823 instead of #29c823. The ff stands for full opacity, use 1-9 and a-e for lower opacity.

I still have a few synths I bought to get into waiting & wailing for me.

But then Vital has to show me some skin, so segcy.

Even if Vital rode a segway with a fanny pack, I would still turn & look twice.

Nah, I'm just good in finding ways to do things easier, better or faster or in finding a way to do things
even if there seems to be no way at all. I definitely will do a skin but currently I'm working on several other projects
so it has to wait a bit.
