okay, so i know you have everything you want, and i know you are an oberheim fan. which is better, the oberhausen or the knifonium?

 

Knifonium any day. It is a beast! And for $29? It is a hard to beat bargain. BTW, I don't even bother purchasing any Oberheim plugins. If I want something done with OB I just use the hardware synths.

 

thanks. i don't have the luxury of a real oberheim, so i'm very tempted to buy the oberhausen. when pa says "round one", does that mean there will be a second chance to buy at $29?

 

I got knifonium and matcha guitar for 30$ together 2 weeks ago or so.. 15$ each.
But i heard audio examples that the knif had crazy amount of aliasing in the upper mids high end.. crazy audible. Some people said quality was worse than free synths from the early 00s

I did not test it myself yet tho.

 

Round 2 and round 3 are coming in successive days. You can get close to an OB with a lot of synths. Also, you have other "emulations" of OB out there. If it comes down to one synth the Knif is the one to get from PA. With that said, the Oberhausen still is an excellent deal.

 

Nope, it's1/3. That's why I'm waiting for the third, which will probably be in March and then I can use my monthly voucher too.

 

That was the very first version of the synth. I was a beta tester and i can tell you it is fixed in 1.0.1

I have a Dangerous Music BAX EQ I can activate it on two devices, or so I think, if someone has some other plugin with some extra activation we could exchange

 

I only want the 50 Channel and the 9000 J so no plugins for me this round. I have more than I need at this stage anyway. But if someone would ask me for recommendations. I'd say get:

bx_digital v3. It's just insanely useful clean m/s EQ for the mixbus. Been using it since v1…
Lindell 80 Channel. Can't go wrong with that one
Blackbox HG-2. Uhhhh boy. What a fun tool

Won't work. The license file generated will overwrite the current one. So you'll only be able to use products I have and vice versa. SO you're better off with using R2R's version for the ones you don't have.

 

You can have original licenses on your computer and the r2r on a usb or vice versa, to activate the plugin you have to send the machine id file

 

Yeah I know, but let's say I want to use the SSL J from my account, Blackbox from R2R and Bax from your account. In that case, I wouldn't be able to since I can only use my license or your license on my machine. It's one or the other. The only other option is a 2nd usb drive with your license on it.
