did you find the link?? Looks like just go for the trial for now, but it's up

homie..there're a good number of brand new, as well as old, downloads, right up top - i mean, you commented IN the thread that you are asking about??? Install them by either putting them in the correct folder with the others of the same type, or in the case of packs: simply double click them after downloading.

I created an .md5 checklist so we can verify our downloads (since the direct download files can't be tested like RAR).

It includes the 52 files linked from ArcticStorm plus these three:
    DriveandGlow_r52806_v1.4
    SkitterandStep_r52799_v1.4
    SpectralTextures_r35477_v1.1

    To use it
1.) Rename the extension from .txt to .md5
2.) Place the .md5 file in the folder with your downloaded .alp packs.
3.) Drag & Drop the .md5 into a compatible program like md5 checker.

If anyone verifies the list please reply or PM me so I'll know the uploaded list is accurate.

    Thanks man.

I also downloaded Live 10 packs on torrent site (100GB) to double check I have all (since I just installed everything from scratch on new Mac).

This way you can install any ALP that would have been missed in the 11 pack, and every installed one will say "already installed".

    SpectralTextures was in it.

I don't understand why they were marked as 11 if they are all available at 10,these packages are somehow optimized or updated?if I already have some of the packages, should I remove them to install these

I have a question and hopefully i get some help in this thread.

My NVme drive is running low on space (to where the minimum free space should be to keep things smooth) and i have 2 Samsung SSDs inside my machine that i use for samples which have a lot of free space.

My question is: If i simlink only the "resources" folder in Ableton to my seconday SSDs and keep the rest of the Ableton folder inside Programdata, will it affect snappiness and speed?

I mean the typical way is to keep Ableton entirely on my NVme drive but like i said i'm getting close to that limit in terms of space.

They are not all available on 10, some are, some aren't. And some are not even part of Suite. Hence the need to download everything and install everything to make sure it's all there.

You can relocate installed packs from the settings panel. Go Preferences > Libraries and Browse for "Installation Folder for Packs", point to a folder on the other drive, Ableton will ask if you want to move already installed packs. The symlink method will also work.

As for performance, the hit will be minimal, probably not even noticeable.

Has anyone found a way to search in Ableton ALP folder? When I type Spitfire it doesn't show up, but if I go manually it's there. So annoying.

Thank you. I already did that. It affects the new packs i can download (Spitfire etc) but not the built-in sounds that come within the installer (the 3 GB resources folder).

I'll just play it by ear and see how performance changes. I might simlink the entire Ableton folder to my secondary SSDs....

I've been using Ableton like this for a while, resources, user library, packs, cache and recording path all on a non-main SSD.

I personally never had any issues, responsiveness or otherwise.

A bit offtopic but you can stick those URLs in pastebin to your downloader of choice to get them all.

Me, I oftentimes use Wget or Jdownloader2 for these kind of things.
For JD2 paste the urls to the link analyser and take it from there. For Wget save the urls to a file, then go to where you want the files to be saved in Command Prompt and then just:

    Code:
    wget --no-check-certificate --continue --no-directories --input-file=.\alp_urls.txt
You can interrupt the download with Ctrl-C and resume by rerunning the above command.

my question is whether it is possible to install it on an external hard drive so that it does not take up space on the C drive

I want to download everything related to ableton if someone can help me

Yes, it's in the Ableton's Preferences. Scroll back a bit to find the instructions.

Also there is some hints how to download, and where to download.

Let me know if you hit any snags.
