Cubase 10.5 Pro Big Sur Blacklist plugins

Discussion in 'Cubase / Nuendo' started by Vincent Price, Feb 22, 2021.

  1. Hello

I have just installed Big Sur on my MacBook Pro Retina 2015 & upon launching Cubase it says that Komplete Kontrol & SynthMaster are blacklisted as Cubase only supports x64 bit now...but yet when using my Mac mini 2012 with Mojave, Cubase doesn't blacklist them

    Anyone able to help?

Mojave is the last macOS version to support 32-bit software, so it makes sense. Catalina & Big Sur do not, nor will any future macOS releases.

you almost answered your own question, it seems.

  4. Well, I have just managed to get the plugins working on big sur :)

  7. I didn't do anything special, just went into plugin manager, looked at the blacklist and then reactivated the plugins
