Since Big Sur is out and since AIR Music Technology is a shitty company with shitty customer support, you can no longer run the installer to make use of your AIR Creative FX Plugins. If you try to you get an error message:



To work around this limitation, you can install the pugins manually. I assume you already have registered them before and the license is stored in your iLok Account.

1. Download and unzip Pacifist
2. Mount "AIR Creative FX CollectionPlus Setup1.2.10.dmg"
3. Open the App and click on "Open Package"
   
4. Select "CreativeFXCollectionPlus_Setup" from the mounted .dmg. There will be an error message about an invalid signature - ignore it.
5. Right click on the following .pkgs and select "Extract to Custom Location" and create a new Folder on your Desktop or wherever so you can find them later:
   
6. After you're done you have extracted AU, VST, AAX Plugins and Presets in the following folders:
   
   
   
   
7. Copy the Plugins to the following locations:
   • AAX belong in: Library > Application Suport > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins (untested since I don't use ProTools)
     
   • AU belong in: Library > Audio > Plugins > Components
   • VST belong in: Library > Audio > Plugins > VST
   • Content (aka Presets and Manual) belong in: Programs > AIR Music Technology
     
8. Done. Enjoy your AIR plugins.

So far the plugins I've used work fine. They are coded in 64 bit so there shouldn't be an issue. The latetst version of their installers for Instrument plugins work fine, btw. So they could fix it easily, if they wanted to,
