I had problems scrolling the tracks with up and down arrow keys in my computer keyboard, audio droppouts. Disabled ASIO Guard, the problem disappeared. Now, it has conflicts with the Pro Tools' shortcut in the taskbar.

 

I know perfectly well the difference between Ilok and steinberg dongle. If you read my post you will see I never mixed the 2.
You can do all what you mentioned in most daws, it might just be a different workflow from what you're used to. When getting out of comfort zone, there's only to gain in life, in all contexts
Anyways if you work with it and EARN MONEY with music, just buy the software instead of hoping for crack... that's my 2 cents.

 

@midi-man I think everything that opens at lower section can opened on own window by clicking the arrow at upper right

@midi-man I made a little gif again. The chord editor even if I click it in the lower section does not change to the 3rd row 7th chords etc. Would be nice to know if this works for you. I would use this version of cubase for songwriting purposes. So the chord track would be nice to have and is basically the main thing besides simple vst-midi tasks and simple audio recording I would love to use. Yeah I known there is scaler but the cubase chord track and assistant is so convenient. Without that quick chord edit it is not that convenient and I stay with scaler and reaper (midi) chord gun.

That was very helpful. The down arrow on the pad opens up the chord chart. Yes I have the same bug as you do.
So far every thing else is working for me. How about you?

I guess if that is the only issue I can always just edit the chord in the midi editor and make it 7 or 9 th.

Since that Cubase 10 Pro that appears at sister site, this is a problem. The only way you can choose a voicing that relies on the 3rd row of the Chord Edit is to choose a chord pad and click left or right arrow in the lower side of the chord pad. It stills work that way in this release.

 

I wanted to use it for songwriting but with that bug meh ....

It crashes quite a lot with certain 3rd party plugins. Even for cubase ;). And the plugin delay compensation is a total mess. So mixing is not possible with it.
Well guess I have to wait for another release.

 

I am sure they are working on it. To be honest they have come a long way. nothing to balk at. I have not experienced any unstability with old protects and plugins. It has crashed on startup a few times when I first started it and it was scanning plugins, But that has happened with my legit Cubase 8 so I think it's more of a cubase thing.

 

someone said that it was a repack from the elements, sl (aka artist), sx (aka pro) relese from team vr. some of the problems do happen with that release??

 

Ok This version is a repack of the latest Cubase version SX 11 VR, same problems and bugs, even in the delay compensation when you are bus groups and FX Send and Plug in open, the mixing goes off-synchro! But despite everything! It is the only most stable version that VR could accomplish!I want to specify that: Cubase SL, does not have these same compensation problems of the delay! Indeed it works perfectly! I hope they can complete it as soon as possible! Force VR!

sorry for the semi-off topic question,but i was wondering if you can install this release alongside cubase 5 air,as i don't want to uninstall it.Also can you install it on 32bit windows 10?

 

@R2R, if you read this, give the people something to play with, i think its time.

 

I don't want to be rude with anyone , but I think people here are into BDSM ... Why use a bad crack of Cubase ,, when you have, 4 maybe 5 good alternative (Presonus Studio One, Ableton, Samplitude , Cakewalk , Reaper , Bitwig , Fruityloops etc).... Not to say that you can have Cubase Elements directly from Steinberg , good for 30 days with a fake email (proton mail) ...

After a lot of testing this one, I've actually not had too many issues, once I managed to finally get it installed, all my plugs work in it and have had little in the way of crashes, at least no more than 10.5, I 've been stressing it with a project I made in 10.5, getting about the same resource usage, haven't really dug too deep, but for audio production, it seems workable
