it looks like Im getting monitors and a new audio interface. I m getting adam a5x and I m thinking of Roland UA-55 Quad-Capture. Did anyone have any experience with it? I m currently using scarlet 2i2, so I m wondering how big of a step up this would be. Roland has better specs on paper, but I m not sure whether its worth it. I know that roland has one pretty annoying thing about it, but it wont be a big deal. Im talking about the lack of separate volume controls for headphones and speakers. But in terms of quality, will it be a step up?
Or if someone has any suggestion, please tell. I dont have firewire possibility by the way

If you are using a desktop pc, there is always the option to add a PCI firewire card for $15.

yes in principle, but not sure if my computer will take it. i tried installing usb 3 pci card before and it did work, but than my keyboard stoped working. and when i restarted my computer mouse stoped working. And finaly the usb 3 stoped working too and it never recovered. I m very annoyed that my computer was built without any possibilities to upgrade it. I guess it needs more power, new motherboard god knows what. So I ll have to stick with usb

The interface doesnt have a Firewire output.

Seems like a decent card.. more expensive than most USB 2.0 minimal output cards tho.

Steinberg UR28M <--- My Suggestion. A few more bucks.. but, u get what u pay for... Google it.. I cant get a link to work.. maybe site is having troubles.
