what do both of these two clowns have in common besides the face tattoos and colored dreads?

6ix9ine is from Bushwick NY. Bushwick crime rates are 3% lower than the national average.
    https://www.areavibes.com/new+york-ny/bushwick/crime/

Smokepurpp is from a suburb in Miami. Check the into video of the kid.

They are nothing but fake clowns who use hip hop to taunt and flex a lifestyle they have never have to live because it's edgy and hot rn. They are total fruads.

Its easy to rap about murder and killing when it's made up and you never had to actually commit the crimes to survive. What stops me or you or anyone from hoping on a hard ass beat like this and spewing up the same fake bullshit as them? Where are the OG's to check these clowns? Bring real music back please. Engineers if you get cats like this that come in your studio and they plan to spew bullshit to the masses like this. Please charge them triple the normal rate.

Nah. That's bullshit. OG's need to check these frauds. The culture needs to be guarded. Why when it comes to Hip Hop it's just biz? Tell smoke purp and 6rat to go and do that with country music and pop and edm since it's just biz.

They live in LA and NY and both hide like crazy. I remember my boy bitched smokepurp in dallas and lil pump and took his bag and ID couple of years ago and had him crying like a little bitch.

Hip hop will never be done. If you listen to these clowns and support this it shows more about you than them tbh.

I can't even look at their pictures without feeling like something is wrong with the world, but out of all the fuked up shit in this world, clowns like this have always been around.

Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice (who is still a pain in the dick today) The white dude from Canada rapping in Jamaican patoi? Snow?

You are from TX and I mean no disrespect, but in my book I would throw T-Wayne in the clown club, ect... There are always going to be scrubs scraping, nobody will remember them soon enough.

"Rappers in 2018" is a funny vid on this topic

I would claim most of the people don't hear music in a active way. Isn't this the whole music charts is Stockholm syndrome topic?
I think artists are allowed to express whatever they want but I do also think they have a role model function. :guru:

That downfall goes back to times when emcees started to sell music as a product, and not just spoke their minds. Rappers Delight was a commercial product! Its a question of focusing on your niche only, and dont give a funk about the clowns without connection to the cultural heritage. I hated Puffy (although that Megahertz beat was dope), hated Lil Jon, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Master P, hated Autotune whatever, i stopped hating loooong time ago. I just focus on dope stuff, from Sean P, Pete Rock, Wu Fam, Preemo, Freddie Foxxx, KRS, and so on & on.
Do what u like, and keep it underground, whether u could make a living from hiphop or not, stay true, and forget about the pop industry bullshit! Balance is key, if u r 100 % in just for the money, no wonder your shit sounds funky as a cash machine.
    My 2 cent.

Never heard of any of them.
If I am unfortunate enough to run into them in person, I will have to assume they are what they look like.
When it comes to personal safety you have to take everyone seriously.

In the end, theres no cultural downfall, its a question of momentum, listening habits coming from your musical socialisation.
If u just listen to radio , cause its easy nowadays for young people to have access to stuff, u eat what they serve. Back in time, a minority of people not represented in mainstream made their own out of nearly nothing, their parents records collection and a little sampler. Thats when creative energy took over, and that is always a good thing, got less to do with becoming rich and shit.
Compare the energy of a contemporary mumble pinky whatever radio tune to this, its a totally different energy. Its just different, u choose which energy u want/need in your life.

What they do is not Hip Hop.
They are not emcees, they are rappers who are doing what they have to do to make money.

Its the not the rappers it's the audience that likes this garbage and gives fame to the people who don't deserve it, I wish Hip Hop remained the same.

And it's more about the beat than the actual vocals or lyrics, producers and sound engineers need to get paid way more than these clowns.

Never heard of them. I guess this is the equivalent of people in the 70s looking at distaste of punks.
Clicks and followers are all that matters but without any realistic prospect of mainstream success, their fame will be short-lived.

A good song featuring auto-tune does not exist in this universe, maybe that's a factor?

Nitpicking again I see. I'm deducting they are "famous" despite the fact that I've never heard of them on the basis that Pimp/Drug Dealer #1 has 4M followers and Pimp/Drug Dealer #2 has 23.4M
