I went into PreSonus' website today eager to try Studio One 5. I can't find a demo anywhere (I was sure they had one), only their free version (which is not what I want, I want to try the pro version).

So I went into the tracker, and every single version gives me a virus detection. Not only Windows Defender but also Malwarebytes seems suspicious of the R2R file (I trust Malwarebytes much more).
So what do I do now? Can people here using R2R version confirm it's safe? (despite how shady it is) And how do I open it? (once WD flags it you just can't open it). I'm on a Windows 10x64 machine.

sister site man. with rapidgator you have to use jdownloader to get larger files from that server (install jdownloader and when you insert a link it will redirect you to the browser, where you have to install the ''captcha extension''.....

a lot of r2r things which comes with keygens are safe because they kinda of bypass the security checks. also, for studio one you have to install it, run the offline activation, catch the computer id and then close the program. run the keygen, put the id, patch the ''.exe'' and then generate the license file. after that, run again the program, offline activation and select the license file that you got from the keygen. it should work. all of this have to be made with the internet off and the antivirus off to avoid any kind of false positive (false alarm)

 

You most likely need to create a Presonus account. This should allow you to see all available downloads for unregistered products (demos & manuals).

 

I actually found the solution while following this.
Right click the keygen exe, select "extract here" (u need to have 7zip installed), disable internet, then run the .exe from within. It actually ran the darn thing! haha. Thanks bro...

 

Every version on the sister site is safe, I'm using 5.1.0, it works great
