    Well, I've been making music for 20 years... wow. But those first years were only Sibelius, and I didn't know what an EQ was until I was like... 17, so I guess I've been really "mixing" for 16 years. My musical ear is good; like I can listen to recordings and 'lift' them pretty well. And when I do those 'mixing ear frequency' tests I do OK.

    Unfortunately Melda plugins are almost unusable due to generic and cluttered UI design which translates to bad UX in all their products. Usability doesn't seem to be a priority for Melda.

    I use Soothe in the daylight and DSEQ at night because of the GUI. My mix becomes wayyyyy better. no kidding.

    Now gotta find some slot for the Melda and I've just discovered Voxengo TEOTE. Ah there is that Gullfoss somemore. Life is hard!

    Does anyone know whether DSEQ ever goes on sale? I really like the new 3.5 update, but 80 bucks are slightly above my budget.
