My belief is that once you are enrolled in a college or a university, your high school record should no longer count as an admission standard and that your current record and merit is what will be scrutinized if you apply to a California institution of higher learning.

When you go to college or University your high school scores become invalid.
Just make sure you get a good work co-op or internship through the school.
This way you will get the work experience to help you get a better job.

Just tell them you had an early version of Covid and you needed to self-isolate.

Ahh CA here isn't referencing California, I'm pretty certain he's talking about "Chartered Accountant", a highly desirable qualification/job here(India) for people who've gone down the Commerce stream of ed. And to reiterate for the OP, yes you can apply for a CA Institute, doesn't matter if you studied in a school or privately, as long as you have that certificate saying you passed your +2 (12th) you'll be fine.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can do that. I've just entered Uni(for Computer Science Engineering), and a few of my friends have joined their Uni's(for Commerce, accounting etc) essentially part-time(They just need to go write the exams, not required to attend lectures) so that they can focus on studying for whatever Exam a CA needs to pass.

Edit: I'd love to know how the OP landed up on this forum to talk about Chartered accountancy of all things, especially as his first post. Like he went through the effort to make an account here, didn't once think this might not be the most relevant place to ask, and posted.
