So the standalone works completely perfect and logic has scanned the audio unit in the daw saying compatibility is fine and all the rest. However it won't let me use the plug in, when I try to add an instrument to the track spectra sonics and omnisphere don't show up in my list of instruments. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had a similar problem with Melodyne on M1. Plugin Manager recognized it, authentication passed but it simply was not in my plugin list.
Downgraded to an older version and voila it suddenly showed up. So only possible solution I'd suggest is to downgrade.

Try the codesign tweak on the plugin.

open terminal, type this: sudo codesign -f -s - --deep /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component

i'm assuming that the folder structure is the same with intel macs "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component", if it is different, you can change it according to what you have on M1 mac.

Had the same issue with arcade.finally gave up on that.it's a logic issue, before you scan plugin for the first time with logic make sure to do that codesign and dequarentine sh*t.if not it's kinda like blacklisting the plugin no matter what you do after that plugin won't show up. Some posted that creating a new admin account fixes it but not sure.
Use another daw to check , plugins will work properly.:dunno:
