Just made my account today, I've been looking for an online music forum for SO long. Reddit never really scratched the itch for me. Pleasure to be interacting with you all.

wanted to introduce myself by sharing the genre I made up that I've been workshopping for the past 5 years that I call Hyper-Rock. Imagine a DJ singing with a live drummer but its not "EDM".

I'm pleased with how this track came out. Curious to your opinions from the song and/or mix.

It's a solo project! buuuut it does require a very good drummer live who doesn't mind a click track

lolol it took a while to figure it out! I use to make the sound with crushing triple-rec guitar stacks but decided to lean into the synth more. The goal was to make something new so it seems I figured that out!
