Yes, very cool project! I read that there are others that have the same issue as me and he hopes to be able to fix it soon :)

Wow ! The person behind ChowDSP is Jatin Chowdhury. I think he is first Indian plugin maker besides beatskillz.

Nationality vs Ethnicity? I guess that it's up to the individual to say that they are one or the other or both.

From what I gathered, the AI mostly applies to their presets. So for instance their bax EQs will adjust to the incoming audio when you load a preset, based on decisions made by the mix engineers who worked on the plugin with them.

But I think they also used some form of machine learning to write the plugins. Pretty sure I read something of the sort about Coral 2. Either the manual or the gearslutz thread

We use tensorflow with a medium sized NN (650000 parameters)
We "sample" engineer actions, so they are available as "smart" presets

On the other side, we use machine learning for the sampling process (not deep learning)

I know synapse is using small RNN. We experimented in this area (RNN, wavenets) but the quality is not there yet, IMHO.
Things could change as soon as there are more resources

Hi @giancarlo, nice you joined this thread. Can you tell us what is the effect of those 'smart' presets and machine learning, please? I mean in terms of behaviour of the pluggins and for us as users. And in which plugins are these implemented?
