Windows 10. I downloaded the ~64GB crack and the folder is sitting in my downloads folder. I will not choose the option to keep STEAM folder on an external HDD, I'll leave everything on my C: drive which has my OS.

As per step 2 of the instructions: "Unzip STEAM parts 1-15 and extract the ISO (the ISO should be extracted to the location in which your STEAM folder is going to reside or moved there once it is extracted).The result is going to be a 83 GB folder labeled "Spectrasonics". Inside this Specrasonics folder, you are going to find the STEAM folder."
Do I extract parts 1-15 inside the same folders they're in? Like the "Part 1" folder has 5 files inside it, and I do have the 7-zip program.

As I progress through the steps, I'll also ask more questions just to be sure about the process. I don't want to make any mistakes.

its been a while but I think you just have to extract all parts to the same folder and then extract those to make the 83gb iso

 

hi, i had to reinstall windows,so im reinstalling omnisphere 2.
i have the steam folder on different hdd,so dont need to install it.
from the above comment im wondering do i install from the folder that is called step 1? and cancel after short while?

 

this is how I do it:

- I get the STEAM folder from certain russian site (there's even a distribution that comes with a lot of extra stuff)
- Create a folder named "Spectrasonics" on C/ProgramData and put the STEAM folder there. Or if you have an external drive put a direct access. Note: if you don't see the ProgramData folder, search how to show hidden files on Windows
- Instal whatever Patch and soundsource library updates you need for the STEAM folder to be up to the version of omnisphere you intend to install
- Then search for the 2.6 release and follow the instructions on how to install it. The program will automatically recognize the STEAM folder you prepared
