I wouldn't. I sometimes just watch it later on youtube.
I'm not paying $40+ dollars just to watch it by myself on my computer. If I was drinking with a group of mates I would.
But these days I like the convenience of not going anywhere, and just having it open in one window while doing other things on my computer and chatting to mates online at the same time.

 

That’s the thing. For $20 people like me - fans who love the sport but feel like they’re taking the piss with their pricing - would buy most of the PPVs. I’d pay 20-25 for the convenience of a reliable stream at 1080p/60fps. But then I hear even their service is unreliable but that’s another matter.

I bet there’s at least five fans like me for every one who pays $70 for a fight card. That price is just too far from reality or a reasonable value for most people

 

I just had a look and converted the price to American dollars. It costs 28.71 US dollars to watch it in my country legally. Compared to $70 US dollars ESPN.

I remember the Direct TV days and the card programmers, they were always battling the hardware hacking of their cards running emulators for the cam rolls. Dishnetwork ( Echostar) was the worst though.

At this time Media itself is under a heavy attack just like the Music industry and the RIAA lawsuits in the early 2000's for Mp3 downloads. It's a different time now, old Media ( Faked, staged and scripted news) is dead. The movie industry is in the same situation as the Mp3 situation decades ago.

 

Not a big UFC fan, but I liked to see McGregor's big mouth get paid off with a BIG knockout!

 

you have just to make people think that they are way smarter than you and they will do the stupidest things. You and others are basically doing free promo for him. Most people are actually against piracy. He could just delete all these piracy comments on social media but he doesn’t. He knows that people who pirate these events wouldn’t pay for them anyway so why not use them to make free promo for him? Shit is trending everywhere and discussed everywhere. People who never heard of dana or these events hear from them and are getting interested. Successful people aren’t idiots especially people in the entertainment industry are pretty aware of piracy and know that piracy can help you to reach way more people. Rich people stay rich by simply only doing what benefits them. If what he does would hurt him, he would stop.
If you somehow still think that you hurt dana by posting about it and laughing about him or streaming, well that’s okay but I highly doubt that it will hurt him in any way and I believe that’s exactly what Dana wants.
Every Promo is good promo. People who pirate it will pirate it anyway, no matter who says what but people who wouldn’t are getting introduced to dana and the ufc by people like you who laugh about Dana without realizing that they are being fooled by him. Marketing is not a conspiracy.
