PSP 808 (easy to translate the same ableton stock settings) PsP/42/85 ( shame it isn't resizable), waves H-delay for fast settings. UHe's ColourCopy is great too

I use echoboy for almost everything or if I want to be really crazy I draw Primal tap (from soundtoys too)

Echo from Ableton is really fun too! ;)

never quite understood purpose of having multiple delays, so I just use EchoBoy just to not miss on something and Ableton's stock delays for quick results

[IMG] Absolutely, I tried it some time ago. It can produce sounds that have nothing to do with the source. Defo a :chilling: tip. :winker:

Does Acustica Audio provide any further explanation on why their plugin is better?
I don't see/hear how a plugin like ValhallaDelay would grain and cut up the sound..

That being said, ValhallaDelay and SoundToys EchoBoy are my favourites.

As said by others it depends what you want one to do. Spring? Pingpong? Programmable? Sync'd (bpm) slapback?
Most of what everyone has suggested here works. The old Tape echo boxes were great. The digital emulations sort of do the job and some have warmth. Echo boy's for features might be the one of the best - the D16 repeater is pretty good too.
If you like to make your own choices with simulated analogue filtering and modulation, FabFilter's timeless is great and it's fully MIDI programmable.
Depends - sometimes a simple spring(more verby) or tape delay or a fast decaying slapback is all that is needed. The situation for me determines the choice. IK Multimedia also makes a timed (bpm) simulated analogue designed delay that's good too for certain things.

i saved simple delay and PP Delay from Live 9, it just uses the new Delay plugin sets the settings accordingly :/
So they completely removed those two devices, which is ughhhh :deep_facepalm:

I tried around with ValhallaDSP Delay and in Dual mode it does exactly what i wanted.
Also forgot that i need to go at some point to the doc, to let my left ear clean, due to pandemic and required covid-test, i have since may a clogged left ear, which makes stereo work super hard :knock::deep_facepalm:

H-Delay i have installed too, sounds like a good idea to have a try with it. :mates:

    thanks here to all suggestion.

Many of you are talking about echoboy, indeed I do agree, but will add crystallizer and his famous echo reverse.

Yeah I really like the layout of the basic live delay. Maybe it's just because it's the first thing I saw when i was learning to produce, but the little number pad of steps is easier for me than seeing it as 1/16 or 1/8. Like I can hear it in my head as soon as I look at the numbers. Takes me slightly longer with fractions
