Hello my dudes,

I need to unearth, convert and export some of my old sessions i did on Cubase v5.5 of more than 10 years ago. What was the last known and working release of Cubase v5 ? Air ? Zone ? As i search, i got confused by multiple results also showing Cubase Elements by CE/ VR ? i will need to install it on win10 and be able to run it (in any compatibility mode etc), and be able to open old .cpr sessions.

another solution: what else i could use to some how convert old cubase file .cpr sessions ? all i need is only original BPM , midi track parts and .wav files of audio tracks, i don't care what type of vst plugins/vsti were used as i plan to totally reassign vst/vsti and remix the sessions in Studio One.

I don't know the answer to your question, but is it possible to use one of the free trials of the latest versions to save the parts of your old projects out?

 

It may have been this version (along with the Nuendo releases)

The last full Cubase crack is by Team AiR, they were the only ones who could create an excellent emulation of the eLicenser dongle at that time (2009). Which took them 2000 hours to do (so don't wonder why no one has attempted it again). reFX Nexus 2 uses the same protection as Cubase so the only crack of Cubase would be from 2009 which is around the same time the last reFX Nexus crack (v2.2) came out. Whatever it is, it will be from 2009. No good eLicenser emulation is public after.

 

I don't use Cubase/Nuendo \for my work, but a lot of my clients are either sending me Cubase projects for mixing, or don't know how to export properly keeping the "creative effects" so it's very frustrating converting new Cubase project with an old C5 to a usable mixing ready trackout for me, to the point that I'm thinking of buying C11 just for the sake of exporting sessions I get...
