It all depends on what I want to achieve and what my intuition dictates.
Mostly I use Echoboy, Sandman Pro, kHs Delay or simply ReaDelay.

I used a lot the Ping Pong and Simple Delay in Ableton, but since they merged them, i no longer like using them, its cluttered and complicated my workflow and i like minimalism and yeah i just cant understand how i can set the timing for example to 1/8 and 1/4 there, it always sounds off for me.

I guess the same will happen, when they merge Flanger and Phaser in Ableton. Why not keep them separate, it wouldnt do any harm.

good suggestions here. I might throw in for simplicity FL Delay and FL Delay 2, i can use them in Ableton just fine.

So lots of delays to try and get lost for a couple of hours. And if u fav delay plugin is not posted alrdy here feel free to do so, i would like to hear it. <3

I do with mostly Ableton's stock ones, and then Audiodamage's Dub Station 2.

Blue Cat's Late Replies & stw-audio Reflex-Pro-X are two very powerful delay plugins.

You prob already know this, but just in case...

You can save legacy devices as a preset. For instance I keep a Live 8 compressor in my user lib because it offers feedback and feed forward modes.

For long, 8-10 sec. clean delays none beat PSP Audioware Lexicon PSP42, good for loops and for shorter stuff PSP 608 MultiDelay and you´re covered.

Hi, just my 2 cents here

Depends on what I want to achieve (I compose electronic music too)
    So i'd say

All around : Live's stock delay and u-he colour copy (it is very colored and I love it)
Creative : Blue Cats Late Replies (amazing), Valhalla, d16 Sigmund
When I really want something sharp in time and clean : Fabfilter (i can never remember it's name)
