WIndows 10 tweak for low latency 2020

    This is normal. I assembled many audio computers and on some it really worked better when I left this setting at "Programs".

    You have to test it like this:
    1) run a demanding project with many plugins that crackles.
    2) change the setting to background services and restart.
    3) try the same project again and see if it still crackles. If it doesn't, leave it at "Programs".

    I've been pondering about it at some point thinking that some manufacturers make their ASIO drivers run just fine at the default "Programs" setting, because users generally don't tweak Windows at all. Sounds logical? :wink:

    On the other hand, Presonus and Focusrite have the basic Windows tweaking guides at their websites that include the "Background Services" setting, so I'd say: it doesn't hurt to try it. :wink:
