I moved the thread to reaper as the problem was kind a specific to it.

But version6.2 came out and part of the changelog is:

• improve plug-in scanning status messages
• add option to not scan for new/updated plug-ins on startup
• preferences window lists skipped plug-ins and allows manual re-scan
• reduce display update frequency when scanning filesystem
• fix IContextMenu compatibility issue
  
  

 

I tried the Ampero and found it FREAKIN AWESOME (the full version, not the smaller Ampero ONE).
But recently I have been using my chaotic collection of pedals but adding a Nux Solid Studio at the end, and from there to the interface. That Nux thing is a beauty, sounds wonderful and is extremely easy to use. Best 150 euros I spent in a very long time.

 

Vote for the Ampero any day.

 

You can! In the drop down menu with the names of all failed plug-ins you just click the plug-in you want to re-scan

 

Ah? I've tried this, but had the impression it was scanning all failed plugins...
