    Evolved from the piano keyboard, the Seaboard is a new musical instrument which bridges the gap between acoustic and digital music by putting the control of pitch, volume and timbre right at your fingertips.

    well yeah, sure, but i suppose you can also use it as pads;
    it is practically perfect keyboard for advanced users, but then again, don't try to play piano on it *no*

    Im a pianoplayer and I think its odd the developer desides the piano-solution at all.

    Good old Mr. Moog actually considered another solution than piano-keys for his moogs years ago, but gave up, went mainstream and did as all others!

    It looks fancy, and will live for a very, very short time because its a bastard (not a piano, not a pad-station ... nothing really - just an expensive experiment).

    Remember: Every instrument is actually just a tool - exactly like a hammer, screwdriver, planer etc. and if it cannot do the job, it will be forgotten and hit the historical drain - like so many other experiments before!

    I can't play piano either way :rofl:...I'm really trying though. :(

    Yeah that's because there are different responses in regular keyboards such as hammer action, semi weighted and synth action. You're not getting that kind of interaction with this new model. Interesting though, thanks for sharing. :thumbsup:
