hey, does anyone know why Catalina fails to install any Factory Library? Been out of the game for a while, a lot of things have probably changed? I've read that almost all NI Apps were incompatible but now they're all compatible... according to NI?!
Anybody, please enlighten me!

No, it worked flawlessly over here on Catalina. I never had this issue on any macos system.

Did you check/specify the content location path in native access to see where it is trying to install?
Did you check error logs in console?
Maybe it's an access rights issue? Check the disk in disk utility > first aid.

 

Which versions of Maschine and which version of Factory Libary did you install to make it work? I'm missing a lot of samples in mine, which is weird because I installed both latest. Now I did a clean install but really I'm not sure which version to install to make it work perfectly on Catalina.

 

I can't even get my Maschine to show up in the browser on KK. I don't know if I need to get a new version but its so weird it won't show up

 

The latest Maschine versions don't work properly, I guess we need to wait for another update fix on sister site (if they ever release anything Mac again, doesn't look that way...)

I gave up and uninstalled.
