Hello !
My question is pretty simple. I'm using a Komplete Kontrol A25, Cubase Pro 10, Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol (software).
When I load Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol on their own, they work perfectly, they correctly load Audio Imperia's Nucleus for example.
But when I'm launching Cubase, once a project and a track are created, this happens :
Either in Kontakt or in Komplete Kontrol, the library will load up but will not work, images and buttons will not display correctly, and no sound will be able to be produced.
Any help is greatly appreciated !

Hi. Just to say, there are no such things as cracked libraries, only cracked Kontakt.
It sounds like you are trying to use shared libs with legit Kontakt or legit KK?

I'm trying to use shared libs with not legit Kontakt and not legit KK.
This is working with the standalone apps but not in Cubase

 

Oh! Well you should be okay if they are both cracked.
Do you have another daw you can test the plugin versions in? So we can find out if it's just a Cubase thing?
I don't use KK so I only know about Kontakt.
Anyway, someone who knows more than me will definitely chime in, don't worry!
Oh, and it can be useful for someone if you can also state your OS too.

 

Ah! A Windows OS? I don't think it's this one, but check you have the relevant package:

Update ! I've installed Visual studios from 2015 to 2019.
No changes after a reboot, Nucleus for examples still loads up incorrectly.
BUT, for Spitfire audio's albion V tundra, the library loads correctly but I get this message instead :

So I guess there's something wrong inside Cubase' parameters ?

 

Ooo! I have never seen that!
I think you may be right when you say it might be Cubase.

I've been digging, the problem comes from the fact that Cubase does not recognize my soundcard :/
I'm struggling to make him see it lol

I don't think that was the problem sadly :/
I installed a Asio driver to see if the problem came from Cubase itself, and it doesn't, because the Asio driver shows up in my list, and when it is selected, Kontakt and KK are perfecly loaded but the VSTs within too, I can play on my keyboard and see sound coming out of the track but not out of my computer.
So i think the real problem is located in the link between my soundcard and Cubase

 

Right. Perhaps the other graphics problems you mentioned are just from some dodgy library sharez then.
Probably with dodgy self-made .nicnt files, which aren't actually needed to be able to load a library, or from incomplete additional picture data in the library.
There are lots of sharez like that at places, because people upload any old stuff just to get their ratio up on torrent sites.

 

I see, but the thing is that all my libs work great ! Except when in Cubase :/
Because Cubase is not linked to a sound output, all my VSTs won't load correcly I'm afraid
So the real issue here is trying to make Cubase recognize that damn soundcard (which is even more weirder cause it's the built-in one!)

 

Probably just incorrect semantics, but you mean the .nki, which is the instrument, not the library...

Well now you've actually told me this, I have to agree with you that it must be Cubase!
