i am starting to teach myself how to edit videos and i am looking for a site like audioz but for editing videos.

I know of some sites but they are specific to hardware and software. What hardware and software are you using or want to learn?

also, i'm pretty sure I got Vegas Pro from the sister site, give it a try.

 

cgpersia mentioned above has a lot of great tutorials and in depth for FCPX.If you don't have previous editing experience then FCP is good.If you already tried other programs you'll get a bit confused.Vegas,Resolve,FCP7,Premiere etc all work in a similar way.But X has it's "own way"
that makes experienced users a bit mad.All of us who came from FCP7 wanted a new version with the same way of work but with 64bit architecture.Apple (as of late 2009) screwed it's "Pro" section and relied on iStuffs.pods-pads-phones etc.So a few years later came with this new version (which is good and extremely efficient) but necessitated all of us to learn a new way.For some of us was fun.For others who had deadlines on the way this looked way too nasty.

Anyway,long story short,Lynda has many tutorials.You can find them on cgpersia or other sites.

They open twice a month.I think is on the 1st and 14th or 15th.Or this might be the cgpeers.But either way you'll get the tutorials. cgpeers has all the tutorials in torrents which i prefer.
